![]() A KOOKABURRA'S BREAKFAST 'Way up high in the tree he'll perch Surveying his domain with pride. Below, the snake, on his frantic search Looking for a place to hide. He laughs out loud, lifts his head to the sky The snake cannot sense him, below. He swoops down fast --- so glad he can fly " One reptile breakfast --- to go!" Back up in the tree, sheltered from rain He looks about, eyes ever keen. The Kookaburra laughs out loud again The finest bird I've ever seen.
