My Monster
Short Poem on Self
Rated:
E
by
Avg Rating: (6)
My monster has green eyes
Shaded in blue disgiuse
Sharp teeth that grind
In the corners of my mind
The edges of my lips
sometimes part and let it slip
The energies of evils done
Have seemed to evade everyone
My knuckles are tight and white

I cannot loosen my grip on losing my grip

Always searching for a fight
Torn between wrong and right
My monster is my enemy today
And will be my companion tonight

When I write you notes in the dark
My monster will help me see
With the green glow of vanity and envy
I will let it out to play
And my monster will become me
