A man called Daddy
A childhood torn...the ultimate betrayal

The day is bright
The sun is high
Daddy holds me in delight

A tickle
A giggle
A smile
A girl

A love
A trust
A moment of play
Daddy, Daddy, I love it this way

Daddy, hold me
Daddy, love me
Daddy loves you all the time

The sun settles
The night falls
A beer opens
In a chair he calls

A love
A girl
A running to see
What kind of love Daddy has for me

A beer
A look
A beer
A touch
A beer
A fear
It's all too much
Someone take me away from here

Daddy, don't
Daddy, why
Daddy, please don't make me cry

Daddy loves you
Come and play
Daddy wants you in a different way

Daddy, don't
Daddy, why
Daddy, please don't make me cry

Don't tell Mommy
She won't understand
I love you so
I am just a man

A girl
A fear
A tear of pain
Someone take me away from here

In quiet whispers
I scream her name

Mommy, come
Mommy, please
Mommy, take me away from here

In silent tears
In dark of night
I need to hide to suppress this fright
He comes again
My mind is gone

This man I knew
I know no more
This man called Daddy destroyed my soul

I'm so confused
I can not see
Someone get him away from me

Daddy, don't
Daddy, why
Daddy, please don't make me cry

He took my love
He took my heart
My body he tore and my trust he forgot

Someone hear me
Someone please
Someone hear me
Hear my pleas

A little girl
A Daddy lost
A childhood torn
And at what a cost
