Through the smoke I see your eyes alluring and laughing. The prolonged coolness of your stare like ice piercing my soul. Was that love I saw behind your haunting eyes or reflections in a mirror of what I wish was there. Your cold soul hovering above the heat of mine. The flames of passion engulf us as our souls entwine. Left with the shattered remains of my soul, as it becomes ashes of a love that never was.
