Blind Man's Heart
Inspired by another poem...

In a pool so deep it has no end
Lies the heart of a creature man.
He left it there so no one could see
The pain, the suffering that holds the key.

For years on end, he kept his heart
Inside this pool of different parts.
Until one day, someone reached inside
And let out the love that had almost died.

For in his heart was a love quite strong,
But never before with any song,
For he was blind and couldn’t see
And that was how it was to be.

But now, this time, with a breach,
Someone took the time to reach
Inside the pool of different parts,
To take and treasure this man's heart.

This man now walks up and straight,
Smiling, laughing, never late.
For now his heart has a view,
Of what the Savior can do for you.
