Comb your fingers through my tousled hair,
whisper my name into my sleepy ear, touch my hand to wake me in the morning but don't disturb this dream. Wipe Sandman's gift out from my eyes, pull the covers off my body open the curtain to let me greet the sun, but don't disturb this dream. It is the start to another day in this life that we share together, and though there are times when we're apart, I won't disturb this dream.
