Thanksgiving Prayer

THANKSGIVING PRAYER

Let us bow our heads and pray,

in a great and joyous way.

We celebrate Thanksgiving day

because we're free.

Thanks to those that risk their lives,

left their children and their wives.

Gave their all for you and me,

so we'll be free.

Some paid the price with blood and sweat,

a gift to us we won't forget.

While they stood up to tyranny,

our lives were free.

Thanks to our freedom flag that waves,

that flag that cost so many graves.

Let it wave from sea to sea

for all that's free.

Bless those that can't be here today.

Lord let them hear this prayer we say.

We bow our heads in unity,

thankful we're free!

Amen.
