An open letter to those who care?

Dear Miss Winfrey, Dr. Phil and Robin, Bono, Bill and Melinda Gates, Warren Buffet, Angelina Jolie, Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton, Julia Roberts, K. I. Smet. If not named, and you care, add your name, and e-mail it to somebody….a fun chain letter.

I am going to make some statements of a highly controversial nature. After watching your growth over the years, I have every confidence they are well within your grasp. Remember, “It does not matter what we think or believe, it only matters what is true.”

The black culture has a distinct and powerful advantage over the white culture of this nation. How could I possibly defend such a blatant canard? Surprisingly this is very simply. If you will indulge me for a moment, I shall attempt to explain.

The black culture of this nation has the advantage of a point of reference concerning their slavery, this gives them a focal point on which they can concentrate and against which to rally. They can rightly claim they did not ask to be yanked from their world of free gathering sustenance, into this situation of enslavement and venal usage. True, accurate, and without defense, a situation they endured. The adaptive difference of pigmentation also serves to give them a visual difference, which fools continue to point to as justification for unequal treatment. That this can continue, in a so-called Christian nation, is beyond support. Who are we to judge God’s creations? All of this, while unfair, gives them clear and solid abuses against which to battle.

Now consider the situation of the white culture. Here we have a situation as nefarious and hidden as to be invisible. This creates a false sense of enfranchisement, which is without a basis in fact. This lost segment believes themselves to be fundamentally equal, while in fact they are, in all reality, held in benevolent slavery. This is enforced through the disparity of education, medical care, and regressive taxation. Further they are encouraged not to use their constitutionally granted right of vote to address this wrong. They are blithely unaware of their situation. Yes, they realize they are at the bottom of the heap, however, they are unaware of the intentionality of this fact, and they have no point of reference against which to rally. Here I shall indulge myself with one of my favorite tactics that is, I shall quote myself, “No person ever has less value than when they seek to exalt themselves at the expense of other’s stature. You do not raise yourself by putting another down.” It is my belief, (right or wrong?), that this too is planned misdirection fully capable of being eliminated in one generation. ”When we quit fighting among ourselves, and turn to face our enemies we are stronger than they.” Acceptance, understanding, appreciation, and compassion must be taught beginning in pre-school and continued throughout formal education. This is not the purview of the parent, it is a foundation stone of our constitution, a stated belief of equality, and must be instilled in all citizens. If the entire citizenry does not grasp the structure of their nation, that structure does not exist.

The upshot of my above statements is simple. I would much rather have a clear-cut enemy upon which to focus my angst. This is the advantage of the black culture…They are very aware of their enemy without, and once they grasp their weapons within, can successfully advance their condition. We, on the other hand, are blithely unaware of our condition, and have never known any other situation of existence. The serfs of the world have always been just that, serfs, to be used by whatever system that is currently in power. I constantly refer to this as follows, “That which is, always has been, but is not supposed to be.” Let me explain that which is, and show how it always has been.

When one studies the structure of the societies of all advancing civilizations, from antiquity up until the present, one thing is consistent. That glaring consistency is the existence of a ruling class, a segment deemed royal, or in charge of it all. Early on, this enfranchisement was declared manifest destiny, and accepted as the way things were meant to be. Two segments of society conspired to maintain this order of society. These two worked hand-in-hand in-order to continue this structure throughout history. The royalty class themselves, and the church, both working to maintain their fiefdoms through mutual support. Yes, occasionally they came into conflict, however, these conflicts were confined to matters of who should have the top place of power, and never was it intimated this was not the way it was supposed to be. This structure created the condition where the welfare of these two divisions were paramount, and all else was acceptable as long as their needs were meet. Clearly stated, this was blatantly declared, “Trickle down economics”, by one of our revered leaders, and nobody pointed out the truth that all that trickled down was produced and taken from the segments below these orders, in the first place.

Now, in viewing this historical structure we will see how this condition was maintained, as societies grew numerically larger. This growth represented expansion of production (wealth), however, control became more difficult to maintain. The further from the head, the more likely was the proclivity for self interest to be meet first, an unacceptable situation. This tendency of self-determination was brought under control by the expedient of sub-rulers. Fiefdoms (or States), were established, which were in thrall to the rulers, and held in this condition by the ability of the head to remove those who failed to bend to their rule. It does not take remarkable vision to see this structure, even in the United States of America. This structure is the same for both segments working at the top of the control ladder. An interesting aside which occurs from this structure is the necessity for war to enforce its existence…All wars have been fought for this purpose.

I am now going to examine the disastrous result of this structure, and then show you a crack, an open door, which has been made available for correcting this situation. You, the concerned highly visible of the world, state you would like to see these disparities addressed, and rightly so. Well, if you are sincere in your hope you must grasp the reality of these conditions. For change to occur please analyze the following thought, “If a person pulls onto a path, and travels long enough, without exiting, he will arrive exactly where it leads.” What is implied by this is the truth, it does not matter how many bumps, curves, or turns in that path, you change, if the destination remains the same, the results will be the same. This mandates, that for the changes wished for to take effect, it is required that a change in path is required. This does not have to be a glaring shift of direction, merely a modification of travel with the desired destination encompassing the hoped for changes.

This is common sense, yet so glaringly missing in the rhetoric of today. No disease or problem may be cured, or fixed without addressing the cause.

Cause for our current malcontent, and unbalance, exists from the path we have always traveled. The funneling upward of the production of the masses, into the hands of a privileged segment of society, and the trickling down of their reward for this service, is the primary creator of the condition we currently endure. As long as less than ten-percent of the population controls ninety-percent + of the resources, these social ills cannot be corrected. Now understand I am not suggesting revolution, or any form of violence to correct this disparity. Violence has never produced one positive result in the entire time of man’s existence. What I am suggesting is kindness, decency, care, concern, intelligence, honor, simply the values our creator decreed in all instruction books given us. We are like a man trying to put together a car without following the instructions, and we are having the same kind of results. We end up with a vehicle; however, it just does not run right.

So now, we glance through the crack I referred to, a fine-tuning so to speak. The crack in the fabric of that which is has only existed for two hundred and thirty years, approximately, and was created by the magical founding of America. That is not to say it could not have been established by revolution, except for one truth. “Violence for change is the child of that it resists, as such it is destined to concatenate and beget the grandchild. A chain endlessly forged in fire.” That statement reflects, once again, “that which is, always has been, but does not have to be.”

In analyzing the foundation of America, we can see this crack because two glaring rights were granted, which had never existed prior to this event. The first right is private ownership of land. Sure, humankind has always had the ability to own their own business, but they could not own the property on which their business was founded. They were shackled to the system by this fact, and forced to apply their profit into the coffers of the ruling segment. Minimal subsistence was the condition they were held in, and this became so ingrained as to become invisible, accepted as the way it was supposed to be. The other right granted by the founding of America, although it has had minimal impact, is the right to vote for the ruling class. No sooner was this granted, than this elected segment, and their cohorts, began a campaign of misdirection and deceit in order to defeat this right. This was a hard fought battle, however, the success of their efforts was assured by the collusion of a privileged segment of wealthy people whose own agenda was placed above the masses. It is easy to see the success of their efforts displayed in the voting percentages of our nation.

If, at this time we have found a thread of agreement concerning this situation, we should then be able to, intelligently discuss the much-needed shift of path. The new path’s structure is formed because of two realities rarely ever heard mentioned in conversations concerning change. One: The primary problem with lifting everybody up to the bounty enjoyed by a select few is as follows. The resources of the earth are finite and fully capable of being exhausted…In the not to distant future. Two: Not all people are capable of learning the necessary skills required for this advance, nor do they want to. This does not mean they are less valuable, simply that they have different values and goals. These factors being the case, what do we do?

It is neither complex nor daunting, for merely by embracing the basic tenants of the instruction books we can achieve an honorable and fair world. All people have value, and deserve to be acknowledged for their contribution to society. This will be attacked by pointing to welfare, crime, ect. as proof this statement is false. However, these factors are social diseases, and once cause is addressed, and a new path is in place based on the above statement, they will be reduced to their lowest possible factor. Here I shall quote me again, “All things are meant to exist, however, in an unbalanced society they exist in disproportionate values.” Call me an optimist, however, this seems common sense to me.

I have been blessed, and cursed, in that I have always seen the world from this viewpoint. This created a sense of loneliness beyond imagination until I was twenty-one. It was at that time I heard the most remarkable statement ever voiced by a living being, “Many see things as they are, and ask why? I see things as they never were, and ask why not?” For a brief second I was not alone, and then a loss so powerful I was spun into a forty-year desperate adventure of experience, seeking a solution. These experiences included; founding two corporations, returning to school at forty-three, for a degree in economics, living for a week on skid row, and four terms in prison (the first for a crime I did not commit). In the sixties, I walked into a black power meeting in Cabrini Green in Chicago, and I was seated in a primarily black bar in Hunters Point, San Francisco, when Martin Luther King was assassinated. The upshot being, I have always treated all human beings with the respect they are due, and always they have returned this treatment.

Enough about me, because the result of this quest for insight has produced a viable solution, and that is what I hope to share.

America’s founding was a magical event; it produced a system based on truths, which for all history had been denied. Ideas, and beliefs, which had always been against the law, became the law, and the doorway was open.

Imagine where we would be if an eleventh amendment to the Bill of Rights had been enacted. This amendment should have gone something like this. “Every person is guaranteed by their citizenship the right of ownership in the resources of their nation. The people of this nation are the foundation stones upon which it is built, and as such deserve to share in the bounty of its development.”

Now consider how this could have played out. The developers of the nation’s resources were held to a fixed percentage available for their profiting. Let us say thirty percent. All other profit was applied to the wellbeing of all citizens, and held to guarantee their advancement along with every other segment of the society. What would have occurred from this system would be a society structured much like today, but with one remarkable difference. There would be an upper class (wealthy), and a very well off middle class. Poverty would not exist, nor would disparity of education, medical, or any other of the social diseases so prevalent today. The power produced by such a system would be invincible in the economic structure of world societies. “The more money in a broad base of an economy, the stronger is that economy. The stronger the economy of a nation is, the stronger is that nation.” Simple economics, and simple decency, the incentive for advancing the society are still in place, and the rewards are still great. If ten-percent of the people controlled thirty-percent of the wealth, they are still significantly better off than the rest of society, yet all society is advanced. Furthermore, this advancement of all society is accomplished based on acknowledgement of their value as human beings, with a God given right to the bounty he gifted for all of his creations. No Welfare, Social Security, or any other made up enfranchisement system need to exist, simply an acknowledgement of all citizens’ value. Take a moment and ponder where we as a nation would be if this had been done in the beginning.

“There are no greater than, or less than, only differences in motivation.” Some are driven to strive for power and wealth, and some are driven for contentment…All should have the chance to succeed.

Oh well, so what, it did not happen that way. Sure, it would have been great but it is too late so we must make do with what we have. Wrong, the door is not closed, and due to our rights, it is still very possible to correct this wrong. It is time to take back the house, and ensure our future. In one generation, we can eliminate the disparities of this current system, and there is not one thing that can be done to stop this from happening. We are not meant to be a society, which has to hope for the benevolence of others for security in our future. “We are each and everyone responsible for the world we inhabit.” With this in mind, let us accept this responsibility, and eliminate the uncertainty of our tomorrows. It strengthens our society, our nation, and above all addresses the social ills, which plague our current structure. Balance, balance, balance.

The path: Four areas of our society are all that is needed to insure this structure, and provide balance. One: Insurance and Banking. Two: Food and clothing. Three: Education. Four: Equality of Medical care. When these four areas are used, for our benefit, all else shall fall into balance. So how do we do this? The method is so simple I am astonished somebody has not pointed it out previously.

For less than the cost of a pizza a month, we can own and control these systems. One hundred and fifty million people (an ideal presentation), join together in neighborly fashion, The Neighborhood of First and Last Americans, and pay dues of twenty dollars a month. This sum equals thirty-six billion dollars a year. This figure should make it clear how this is accomplished. We incorporate our own versions of these areas of society. Every person receives one share, and nobody owns more than that figure. These shares are issued for lifetime tenure, in order that they are not inheritable, giving somebody more than one share of ownership. Each year the profit percentage from these endeavors, is returned to an individual’s retirement account, and this sum is available in anyway they choose to receive it, upon retirement. This gives the freedom of choice concerning when to retire, and how you choose to receive this retirement. Furthermore, as these funds are yours, much like a savings account, they are fully inheritable. Imagine the money available from the profit of your insurance, banking, home purchases, food, and clothing, all retained for your future usage. In one generation, all participants will have lifted the weight of financial worry from the backs of their families. If you think on this you will see how this will succeed, can you imagine anybody not joining such an opportunity?

Reality check, there are many here among us for whom this small investment is still unavailable (the poor of our nation), so how do they benefit? I again point to the instruction books. Ten-percent of the increase, or the giving of alms, etc., need be applied for this purpose. For if all are not included, and honored, we have not addressed the social ills of our society. It should be apparent, after one generation (approximately), this will no longer be a factor, although there is nothing wrong with then addressing the needs of the world. Can you imagine a world where the social illness have been addressed…Goodbye war.

A brief word about the other two areas, which are education, and medical care. We do not need these to be profitable…We need them to be equal, and by the power instilled through the other two areas, we can insure this occurs. “When somebody else hold the reins of your mount, do not expect a pleasant ride.” Well, here we have just taken back the reins of society, and established a system where our leaders will definitely have to pay attention to our welfare.

I am a poor man, or this would be in existence right now. I would give everything and anything to see this happen. The people at the beginning of this letter can do this in a heartbeat; we can do this in a heartbeat. I, alone, can only dream.

If this ever begins, it is my hope I am included, because there are many areas that need to be addressed to insure venality not gain a foothold. Maybe I have not considered them all; however, I have considered most of them. Of course, future monitoring and refinement will be required, but hey, it is a start.

Read about a place where this is being done, and how. "Schizophrenic Rescue," being published by Dragonpublishing, available before the end of 2006. ISBN 0-9789663-2-5 Available: Barnes and Noble, Walden Books, etc
