Into the Abyss

Total darkness fear from the light.
Despairing chaos locked into fright.
Into the deep I have traveled far.
These demons around me have left me marred.
My soul has been tortured, burned alive.
Yet I swear to this day I shall be revived.
Nothing but chaos swimming in my head.
If not for the love of another I’ll soon be dead.
Into the chaos I’m not afraid to go.
Because there I traveled so very long ago.
Deep into hell where father now sleeps.
Far below within hell so very deep.
Nothing to do, I’ve nowhere to run.
Before the end of this day my life should be done.
Into the inferno my soul now glides.
Cursed in this place I’ve no one to confide.
Trapped in a cage caught by Satan.
I’ve nothing left not a single leg on which to stand.
This is the end my soul now lays slain.
I took on the devil, my heroics were all in vain.
