When I was a kid;
I used to dream, Catching big fish; Way up the stream. Or being in a circus; Playing funny clown, Scared by the tiger; Jumping up & down. Scolding all the kids; Correcting the papers, Wanted to be a teacher; In all those years. Days passed by; and so also nights. My dreams now; had a foresight. I wanted to be someone; Whom everyone respects, Doctor, lawyer and engineer; Someone with bright prospects. Sometimes I also dreamed; meeting love of life, We will get married, and I will be a wife. For years together; I kept dreaming, Talking in my sleep; Waking up screaming, Now my dreams are lost; As I keep worrying each night, Tossing and turning, looking out of window; I wait for daylight.
