The Day My Sky Died
A tragic poem from the heart of a man destroyed in a way so foul.

Those eyes so piercing, penetrated my soul.
Another lie, your love was always false.
Thoughts of blessing; you turned my heart cold.
I thought you were my savior,
You were just an Anti-Christ.
You thought you could keep it up forever.
That act of love you tried to hold together.
In the end you were only false,
A false bound kingdom, the destroyer of hope.
You watched as my heart shattered in your hands.
Yet you did nothing, you left no hope unto this man.
Tears flowed from my eyes,
As I tried to bid you another goodbye.
Around my waist your arms again moved,
Holding me back, restraining me from letting loose.
I told you I loved you, you said you did to.
It was all a lie…
The day you caused my soul to die.
