"You know I really am tired this year. I don't feel like flying Santa's sleigh all over the world."

" I know what you mean Dasher. It seems as if his sleigh is getting heavier each year."

"Dancer, are the two of you talking about Santa's sleigh?"

":Yes, Prancer . We're getting old and our backs can't take the weight."

" I've only started pulling Santa's sleigh and I like helping. Now everyone wants to quit?"

"Vixen, you're a girl. Girls don't make these important decsions. Stay out of it."

"Comet, she has a right to her opinion. Leave her be. I do agree with your insights. However, you have to think of the children."

" That's right Cupid. Also, you could ask the vet for some relief. It's only one night."

" I agree with Donner. After all, he is the oldest of all of us and has been pulling Santa's sleigh the longest. If he is willing to endure it for the kids, then we should all follow his lead."

" Since the eight of you have all had your say, now it is my turn. I'm the one who got all of you out of a pickle a few years ago with my blinker.
I have not been pulling the sleigh as long as some of you, but we are doing the children of the world a disservice if we decide NOT to fly this year. The world is in turmoil right now. It needs a little happiness. If it is us that are chosen to dispense the happiness, then it is our duty to make half the world happy. I've charged my blinker, so I am ready, willing and able to do my part. How about all of you?"

" As the oldest of the group and the reindeer that has pulled the sleigh the longest, I agree with what Rudolph just said. The children are the most important resource in this world. If they are not happy, then Christmas is for not. If we have bad backs, then let's get some type of pain relief, stand up straight, eat our corn that helps us fly, and do our duty.. All in favor say "I". "
