Deep, Dark & Rotten
Rated: E | Poetry | Emotional | #1189342
Some of us escape life inside of our heads, until something goes wrong. Lots of symbolism.
It is deep in the wood,
I call it my own.

A place I can think,
Free of shame and retort.

I'd share it with you, if only I could.
The wood calls to me, me one alone.

Here in the wood,
My gaze falls on you.

I fear for your life,
As you remain unwelcome here.

I wanted to scream, if only I could.
Our lifes are in danger, Murder on cue.

Our fates are entangled,
We are quickly forgotten.

Why did you come here?
What did you hope to uncover?

Corpses beaten and mangled,
In what is deep, dark and rotten.
