Published in an issue of Jellybean Junction. He stood all alone In the field--forlorn Nobody wanted him near "You're too short, you're too fat As a matter of fact-- You're a funny looking deer" So he stayed away From the herd--he strayed So no one would see his tears When along came a child And she stayed for awhile Somehow he knew not to fear "Oh how sweet you look Just like in my book Are you a magic reindeer? I've looked high and low-- Everywhere I go Imagine finding you here!" Well they became friends And so the story ends He finally found someone who cares He lives in a new home He never feels forlorn Because the little girl wants him near
