I am Light
A poem about light.....in many ways you don't see it!

I am Light.
The sun=s full rays pacing about the world.
A light struggling to light its corner.
The moon reflecting the sun=s warm rays.
The light refracted in puddles and rivers.
The desk light illuminating your miserable homework.
The glow-in-the-dark toys you always loved to play with.
A flashlight you used to secretly read Eragon at night.
The opposite of dark.
The lava lamp in style just a few years ago.
The color you see of your night (or maiden) in shining armor (or..whatever you imagine)
The brilliance of stars in the dead of night.
A pale sweet colors in soft pastels.
The sign of happiness, peace, and joy.
The color that splits darkness right into two.
The sign of hope in an age of evil.
The torch adventures bear while traversing ancient lore.
A tail emitted by jets far above.
The joy of all colors brought together once more.
The constant glow of a twenty-four hour gas station.
The airy marshmallow with all its gooey flavor.
A brilliance you feel when first in love.
The glare of headlights in nights full height.
The absence of sorrow, darkness, or death.
The hope for tomorrow with all its new starts and fresh hopes.
A light we shine when together with others.
The noise radiated from a prism=s shine.
A soft fluffy pillow weighing naught but a little.
We all hold a bit of light...deep within ourselves.
It just takes some joy and it bit of light to let shine through.
I am light.
