Thine Love
        by Avi  (avia@Writing.Com)
tho’ it be years that i should wait,
that thy heart to me would beat;
willingly shall i be,
for i love thee dearly.

tricked by mine own eyes,
i thought thee smile at me.
but, alas! surprise, i was,
when thy lips did kiss me.

oh God, could it be true,
my love did love me, too!
