Ahhh yes, The Faerie Forest! It is now time for me to describe the forest for you! I cannot expect you to travel around here without knowing where you are going, now can I? I thought not! Now where to begin….
I think we will start off with the Entrances to Forest. There are Four paths leading into the Forest. One from the west, one from the east, one from the north, and YEP! You guessed it! One from the south! I personally prefer the entrance to the north.
In the center of the Faerie Forest you will find a very large willow tree! Not just any ordinary willow tree! This tree’s trunk and leaves are not brown and green. They are both a shinning emerald green! When the sun or moon light hits this tree just right, it glows! This tree is known at the Emerald Palace. This is where the royal faeries of The Faerie Forest reside. The King of The Faerie Forest is a very fierce looking Dragon Faerie named Lucian. Keep in mind, all paths lead to the Emerald Palace!
Just east of the Emerald Palace is a place called The Hot Spot. It is an area in the forest where the sun almost always shines. It is extremely hot here! Most Faeries come here to tan, some to sweat off a few pounds. There is even a race of Faeries who live here!!
A bit south of the Hot Spot you will find the Shimmering Pools. Here is where you will find most water fae. And of course any other faerie who may want a drink or a swim. The water here is said to be very calming. Some say it can even heal a dying man!! There are many waterfalls around the Shimmering pools, along with several hot springs. Make sure you ask the Aqua Faerie leader permission before taking a dip though, they don’t take kindly to strangers.
Our next stop is just west of the Emerald Palace. Here you will find a mushroom grove. Of course mushrooms grow all over the forest, but this is where they grow the best! The mushrooms here are absolutely delicious. Though I don’t recommend eating them unless you are familiar with the Mushroom Faeries… A dear friend of mine did that… now he is one of the mushrooms!
Hmm what other placed should you know about… let me see here… Ah! Yes of course! The Oak! Just North of the Emerald Palace there is a huge oak tree! There is honestly nothing special looking about this tree except for its size. Well… and the tree is Hollow! Within this tree is a gigantic meeting house just for faeries! It is where all the fae folk of The Faerie Forest come together for meetings, and celebrations!
Right now there isn’t much else I can tell you about The Faerie Forest. I have yet to discover all of it myself. It is a HUGE forest with many, many mysteries! As I discover new things I will add them here for you! Good luck, and be careful!!!
