One Wish

The end of this year is upon us near,
Blessings and good tidings, I state clear.
Your dreams and wishes I hope have come true,
Make a wish today to forget you are feeling blue.
Express to someone how special they are,
No matter where they live, near or far.
Remembering those who have less than you,
Give a little something, you will feel good too.
A warming glow to your heart, spreading love,
Gifts you will reap, given, from up above.
Your beliefs no difference -show you care,
The thought of everyone willing to share-
A great holiday spirit would fill the air.
This wish I have made is true and of pure intent,
My heart is open and welcomes anyone of any descent.
Cherish this time, but open your eyes,
Love can conquer, I believe that hearts can grow in size,
Gather your loved ones and hold them tight.
If only we could love and our world would not fight.
