Oh, it hurts so baby,
it hurts so! To know… and yet to feign ignorance. To let a lone tear caress my cheek and to give a fake smile. To try to forget it all and act like nothing happened. But the truth won’t leave. It grasps me everytime Looking right into my eyes as it stands there untrodden, no matter how hard I try to make it vanish. I plead with it to let me BE! But it’s there, right there, adamant and stubborn To keep me out of my dreams Lest I forget… And the memories surface again. Those ugly memories I strive to hide. They show their frightening fangs and I don’t have a choice but to surrender to the truth...
