Whispering wishes no one can hear,
a single desire that you were still here. Though I know you’re at peace, I still miss you so. There are so many things I want you to know. I’m constantly whispering wishes. Whispering wishes to hold you again, that things could be now as they were back then. Nothing’s the same since I lost you that day. The aching within just won’t go away. I’m constantly whispering wishes. I’m whispering wishes for the ache that I feel, from losing you, and scars that won’t heal. Wishing the emptiness I feel would subside, along with the feeling that part of me died. I’m constantly whispering wishes. Whispering wishes, all that’s left of me. You were all that I am, and ever will be. God’s holding you now until I join you. Faith in that is what sees me through. Still I’m constantly whispering wishes.
