You and Me and Make-Believe
by abel
Rated: E | Poetry | Romance/Love | #1195116
love with a little Mary Poppins twist....
Long, I have troubled,
where trouble began,
to find a sweet Woman
for this troubled Man.

I felt that my time
was slipping away,
cold, lonely nights
turned to cold, lonely days.

Me luck has been little
Me luck has been few
Until I found Love
In Pieces of You.

Oh, blow me a kiss
And that’s lucky too…

It was the lashes --
subtle
stealing the beat of My Heart
Every Time your lips
blew a kiss
My way.

Pieces of You
strung together
like pearls
falling around my neck,
taking away my breath,
Serendipitous discoveries.

Everyday
feels like the first time
We met,
The first time I dreamt
Of You…

Now that My Life
can be sang in a song,
I’d like to ask You
to help sing along.

Now that my troubles
are none but a few,
they seemed to run off
the first time I met You.

Oh, blow me a kiss
And that’s lucky too…..

Peace Abel
