Seed.
        by Everydaywriting  (katrinia17@Writing.Com)
Small like a drop of grain is the seed,
And fragile as the mind of a child.
It falls from the flower like rain drops fall from the sky,
Landing so softly below.

Like a mother, it holds a new beginning,
Sheltering babe in its womb.
It shall give birth and bring life into this world,
Like a mind ready to grow.

It awakens, yawning and stretching
towards the sun's rays,
And like the colors of the rainbow,
It will bloom against the great blue sky.
