Do you know what she's thinking?
Assumtions lead to what? Judgemental eyes and lips only have one conclusion.

Do you think you know what’s on her mind?
As she smiles mischievously
Waves innocently
Content inside
Do you know what she’s thinking?
Maybe- maybe you think she is the nicest thing in the world
While others may think she’s a whore
As she smiles mischievously
Waves innocently
Content inside
But do you know what’s on her mind?
Maybe she’s thinking about the children she helped across the street
Or the married man you saw her with that you swore she fucked?
As she smiles mischievously
Waves innocently
Content inside
But do you really know what’s going on in her mind?
Maybe- maybe she wants to go to that drug infested club on the Ave where they prostitute or get drunk and high- lay down on the side walk sleeping passed out
Others may think she’s going to her college night classes to get her Bachelors to get a better job
As she smiles mischievously
Waves innocently
Content inside
You will tell yourself what she is thinking
As she smiles mischievously
Waves innocently
Content inside
Even though you have never met her
You will pass this judgment of her
And it will affect her
Because you were so sure of what she was thinking
As she smiles mischievously
Waves innocently
Content inside
That you decided to spread this opinion of her
As she smiles mischievously
Waves innocently
Content inside
She will meet others who will think the same way about her
Because you were so sure of what she was thinking
Because you were so sure you knew her ‘type’
As she smiles mischievously
Waves innocently
Content inside
And you know something…
Most of the time you assume wrong
And yet you do it anyway
When you looked at her and in to her eyes
As she smiles mischievously
Waves innocently
Content inside
You made that wrong judgment
The judgment that can either make her or break her
Make her float or sink her ship
All because you looked at her
As she smiles mischievously
Waves innocently
Content inside
And decided not to say
“Hello, my name is…”
“How are you? …”
“I would like to get to know you…”
