WITHDRAWALS
Warm blankets surround your premature, breathless body; Inducing warmth, suctioning; initiating life To your unresponsive, lifeless form. Helpless, you enter this world addicted to meth and cocaine; Drugs passed to you as often as nutrition was. Respirations controlled by a machine, as your body Awakens slowly to face tremors and pain. No tears only Whistle-like noise from the machine breathing for you. An addiction you did not choose or want, Leaving you with physical and mental disabilities.
