Clothed in cashmere as soft as her skin,
she slowly made her way towards him.
His eyes sparkled when looking at her,
knowing not for an instant he could defer
sweeping her into his arms to hold her tight.
He had waited forever for this night.

Her eyes shimmered as they searched his,
Her heart hammering as she accepted the kiss
she had waited for since coming to meet him here,
wearing blue jeans and a sweater made of cashmere.
A sweater girl is what he wanted and would get.
She saw in his eyes this night they would never forget.

They entered the hotel and once the door was closed,
their clothing was removed, their bodies exposed.
For several moments they just gazed at each other,
knowing the fires of desire kindled would soon smother.
Sweeping his sweater girl into his arms, he led her to bed,
his warm lips meshed with hers and that igneous fire was fed.

The coupling over, they gazed into one another’s eyes,
The passion felt within neither managing to disguise.
Gentle caresses exchanged, they strove to keep alive
the rampant fire of desire they yearned to survive.
The night was young, but not a moment wasted,
As their exploring tongues teased and tasted.

Stars shone in their eyes once the fire was fed.
Rising with smiles upon their lips, they got out of bed.
Leaving the room that had been their love nest,
with the sweater girl he knew he now longed to possess.
He vowed to make her his for the rest of his life,
to give her his all, and to make her his wife.

She would always be his sweater girl,
always be his entire world.
