HE'S COMING HOME! The years have been many and the days too long since I last looked into his eyes and heard his voice, the miles between us grew longer each passing day with the knowledge that he had really no choice. He's coming home! It takes faith and courage to wait here at home and wondering what each new day will bring. Trusting in God that the memories won't fade, being able to welcome him back in the Spring! He's coming home! May days that are coming, the pathway ahead be filled with sunshine, laughter and song; May the years apart be but a flicker of the heart, and I'll forget that he has ever been gone. He's coming home! My old heart will rejoice when I hear his voice, springtime will blossom in such a glorious hue; The song of the lark will be clear in the meadow bringing the joy of my life right back into view. He's coming home! I hear his footsteps outside my front door, a knock that sounds so loud and so clear; The door opens wide to let a son back inside finally the wandering soul is back here! He's coming home! Countrymom 1/5/07 l
