As Winter Turns Toward Spring
The poem speaks for itself, darkness edged by light, despair tinged with hope.

It will not be easy, but together,
I believe that any bad weather
Will be no more.
Behind every cold, dark night
Hope shines its eternal light.
We must strive for
Unity that peace could bring.
As winter turns toward spring.

Hand in Hand we can tiptoe carefully.
Minefields of hate, I then forsee
Will be no more.
Foundations of trust, we'll build,
Chasms of chaos will be filled
By peace not war.
Caring - love worldwide could bring.
As winter turns toward spring.
