cross-cultural dittie n° 1
taking conversation out of context and then elaborating on the ridiculous

This item requires reviews with ratings.
the rain man's tradition describes thus:
Botswana's high noon slick
smelling slightly greasy
after six un-air-conditioned hours
in the sweltering heat
proclaiming and disclaiming
melodious voice parched and stinging

cursing and musing
he would write overly easy-peasy poetry
(otherwise known as New Year's verse
fizzling with bubbly greetings)
feasibly pleasing the banker's ills
concerning the means to dig
for new artesian springs
sprung for southerly heated Perrier

however, and sadly, is must be said
little is accomplished
without his lordship's inspiration
more mundane and worldly
than fluffy porn star attire
and his sexy ginger biscuits
stuck to his lips
licking the last pearly drops
from his silver spoon
left nonchalantly on the porch
waiting for a drop of golden rain
appeasing the teasing
of Mother Nature's
fortune hunted fees
native rain dance at honey sunrise
almost crush the dry
entomological scampering and rodent whimpering
feasts for morning vultures
who bring nothing wet
other than a scattering of drops
scarlet in the tall browning grass

cross-cultural dittie n° 1
Botswanese inspiration
