Take It Off!

Hot lights, hot music.
You've got it now, but soon you'll lose it.
Perfumed skin, leather and lace,
long blonde hair, an angel’s face
contrary in this lonely place.

Slow touch, slow smile,
makes me want to stay awhile.
Take it off, I long for delight,
Lend me a dream for the empty night
ward off the loneliness I fight.

Street tough, street sleazy,
shake it slow, take it easy.
Take my money; got to make it pay,
make it last for another day.
Please, end my lonely night I pray.

Lonely crowds, crowded minds,
I fetch my coat; dreams left behind.
Leaving alone, too broke to stay,
Night is cold when I feel this way
as I go on my lonely way.
