Hoping you'll call
This is what happens when someone emotional never gets a phone call.

I slit my wrists
And close my eyes
Praying to God
To let me die.
The pain is deep
I can’t get free
Please, oh please
Just let me be.
Why do I stay awake,
Hoping you’ll call?
Maybe you’ll notice now
With no me at all
I feel this rush,
This certain high
I guess I’ll be leaving now
So long and good-bye.
