The Winter
When the sun hides behind the clouds...
Rated:

Avg Rating: (13)

The chill in the wind,
the lull in the sky
and the loneliness
in the weather.

The silent cries,
the ear-piercing sounds,
the dark day
and the lonely sky.

The shedding leaves,
the trembling bodies
and the warmth
of the quilt.

The blinding fog,
the sobbing mist
and the silent vapour
amidst the noise.

The sniffling nose,
the watery eyes,
the numb limbs
without the fire.

The frozen trees,
the hard-hitting snowballs
and the late mornings.

The softest sound,
the loudest shriek
and the sun going down.

The chill in the wind,
the lull in the sky.
