Broken Dreams

We all have our broken dreams,
Each and every one of us.
As improbable as it seems,
They may not be as ruined as you think.

Various things affect our dreams,
Our life living at home.
Our sources of education.
If our childhood was spent alone.

Difficult to believe?
It certainly would be!
Such things are hard to perceive.
Listen up you might learn something!

Our futures are uncertain,
Naught can be done to change this.
We go through trying times,
But, ignorance is not always bliss.

Ponder that it might be the wrong way,
And your life isn’t meant to go there.
Though here isn’t where you should stay!
Where do you want to go in life?

Consider your likes and dislikes.
Do you have what it takes?
Is this truly what you want?
That should shorten the stakes.

Remember that you’re not alone,
Someone is always willing to help.
Don’t give up, and drop like a stone.
Remember that all is possible.
