Tears that are ready to spill from these swollen eyes of mine,
Are grieving over the olden time, Because of a heart unwilling to let go, My body and soul went with the flow, Swimming in uncharted waters both dark and cold, The very thing I hated is what I behold, Turning back is easier said than done, For my innocent days were long gone, Taken away by heartache & pain, I was almost driven insane, Wholeheartedly never to love someone as I loved you ever again, Closing the entrance to my heart from all but suffering and pain, Wanting to open my heart, But the fear of sorrow my mind impart.
