The Way She Feels
Depression

That girl is very different,
That girl is mixed up.
That girl is a mystery,
That girl has no luck

She's fine around her friends,
But different when she's not.
She just doesn't get it.
That girl has problems alot.

She looks in a mirror,
And sees a disgusted face.
She rethinks her life,
Then runs to her room with haste.

She pulls out a pen and paper,
Her hands are trembling.
She looks at a picture of family,
Then starts rememebring.

*Is it really worth it?
Why should I waste my life like this?
I am a good kid,*
Then she looks at her wrists.

She sees the cuts she made,
And her body fills with fear.
She wishes to end it now,
Just end it now and right here.

She takes a little nap,
And dreams up wierd dreams.
She wakes up and screams,
"LORD WHAT IS HAPPENING TO ME?*

She's dreaming about suicide,
She's dreaming about rapture.
She's getting lost in her thoughts.
Lord please go out and help her!

She runs to her parents room,
But they are not there.
The phone line is dead,
Now she starts to care.

No one is at their house,
All of the lines are dead.
She screams bloody murder,
"Lord get these thoughts out of my head!!"

She wakes up with her parents there,
They were sitting by her side.
She looks at them hard,
Then hugs them oh so tight.

She shows them her wrists,
And told what she's been through.
She explains everything,
And what she was about to do.

She works with a therapist,
And goes to the school counselor.
She gets alot of help.
Her friends also help her.
