Sitting in my chair
You so far away I often wonder if you're real. I'm looking around my castle of brick while you slave in your steel tower. You've never felt my tears, never celebrated me. I've never touched your strength, never seen your fire. Worlds apart Yet you're ecstasy to me. Constant steady emotions sorround me Wanting to know your hand in mine, Wanting to see your eyes. Would I see me? One look at me and what would you see? Whispering hope... Endless pride... Relentless love I can feel you even now. You know i'm here. We reach out over the distance. Our hearts voicing what we can't say. You wash over my parched soul and I drink you in.
