Peacefulness
By Stephanie Gifford 1-18-07 Peaceful silence surrounds the mind A Cold, dark winters eve Emotions unwind Some things may deceive. Calming music fills the air Close your eyes Dream if you dare Drifting off in a peaceful slumber Warm under the covers Dreams begin without numbers. Dying, sadness, happiness and more Tossing and turning You stand on seashore Alone with a yearning Set in your heart and mind Wondering what to do with your life Wondering what to do with all the strife.
