DON'T TELL ME TO STOP
Don't tell me to stop hurting.

This item requires reviews with ratings.
Don’t tell me to stop hurting, or that things will be the same.
I feel like an injured animal ensnared in a vicious game.
Time doesn’t heal all wounds, or my heart wouldn’t ache so,
and I wouldn’t feel like shouting “Why did she have to go?”

Don’t tell me to stop crying, or that things will soon be fine,
for there isn’t any mending for this broken heart of mine.
I feel like all security has been stripped from me.
This aching heart now exposed for all the world to see.
