Love Poem

LOVE

Love is not something
your mind can expect,
it’s not something
you can collect;

It’s not Yellow
Blue or Green,
No it’s not something
that can be seen;

It cannot be felt by
fingers or toes,
It cannot be smelt by
somebody’s nose;

You cannot buy it
with beautiful gifts,
it’s not something
that you can lift;

And yet you find
it every were,
so how do we know
that it is there?

It’s that feeling of worth
when your stuck in those ruts
that feeling of happiness
when life really sucks

that person you see that makes your
heart all a flutter,
that person you see when
you melt like butter

the person who always
looks good in your sight
the person who always
does everything right

So there is the way
that love can be seen
its through the heart
that’s where its always been
