Thoughts while sitting in an empty house alone after the end of a relationship.

Moving Out



Each memory
has been lovingly wrapped
packed and labeled.

The moving crew
with muscled efficiency
has come and gone.

Our home
once joyous with our love
sits serene and empty.

Alone, I realize
with the memories
departed pieces of my heart.
