Dear Me: or as I would prefer - Hey You: Time to really nail things down. You’re a thirty something who just got hit with life large. Well acquainted with the injustice of the world at this point, its time to quit wasting time acknowledging it, and do your best to wield that irony like a true warrior. In the past, you’ve thought that resolutions were for the weak, but go ahead and measure this: Resolution #1: Get coherent with those ideas about the world, put them into words. Now. There is no time to waste. It’s your only hope. Resolution #2: Stop spending emotional energy on people who do not matter. In fact, thank them, dismiss them, in person if necessary, and put them in your archives. This should be obvious: they are fodder for your cannon. Yours Truly, Yours Truly
