She was a child of Light
A happy one, loving life. She basked in popularity and praise Not knowing any pain or strife. She had no cares in the world She was loved by all. Knowing not that she was masking pain And that she would surely fall. Deep inside her, feelings were brewing Slowly surfacing to haunt her again. Growing harder to push them down, She began to realize her pain. It rushed upon her like raging waters Drowning her in memories of her past. Rejection, hurt, and lost desires Emotions raging from this blast. She began to grow cold in her bitter haunting And behind her seemingly happy eyes She became lost in the dark and despair, Her heart was growing cold as ice. Her only comfort became her enemy It became her protecting refuge sure. The only thing she knew was this misery Thought meanwhile her pain grew hard to endure. Her once happy soul was quickly fading Her spirit sleeping somewhere cold. She became caught in her utter despair Longing for Light and love of old. Confused, hurt, deceived, hiding, She dwelt now in her world of evil. For years she had bowed to the Leaders of Light Now, to the King of Darkness she'd kneel. Lost in her pain, she was utterly scared Groping in darkness, only to fall. Her perfet fragile world cruelly shattered She wanted only to end it all. Heart beating fast, she held the knife Hand shaking, she caught her wrist Cutting, bleeding, dying, screaming She wallowed in her memories missed. Shortened life quickly slipping away Evil whispering in her ear. Tragic doom before her eyes Her end was swiftly drawing near. That night a broken spirit was stolen The Darkness had thoroughly consumed her. Drowning in her pain and misery, Now, she woud be lost forever.
