Being Guided: Truly a Miracle

Recently, I went to a book store to purchase a gift for a friend - a book entitled "Conversations with God Books 1, 2, and 3, Gift Edition." On the very moment before buying the gift, I asked three questions.

Is this the right gift for this person?

Am I doing the right thing?

Can I afford this? (The gift cost me $43 total including tax)

Note that I did not say  “I can't afford this” - I decided not to make that decision for the universe and instead be open-minded.

Nevertheless, I said to myself, ”Maybe I won't buy this. Maybe.”

And I walked past the book. Then, suddenly, I heard a voice that said,
“No, you can afford this. Buy it.”

And so, I listened and I bought it and even had it gift-wrapped, which was free of charge.

The very next morning (only about 16 hours later), I received a gift that I  really needed and which was worth $45 - so I even made a profit!

But before I reveal to you what it was, let me tell something else that happened on that day that shows the synchronicity as well as the truth of the adage “Even before you ask, I have already answered.”

Now, on the way to the book store, I met a girl and her son at the bus stop - I meet them quite often while travelling by bus. Now, the son had found some unexpected treasure while playing at the park - some toy cars that the other kids had left.

This reminded me of my own experience with finding unexpected treasure. A few months before, I had found, on the street, about 10 or 11 pens, which to me at the time was like finding treasure since I used to lose pens often. So, I revealed this info to them, and we talked some more on the topic. I even joking to the little kid, “Don't worry about it. It's ok. You will find more next week,” when he complained that he had lost some of his treasure when it dropped into the bushes, and then I joked further, “Maybe you should start saving them and selling them.”

Now, the very next morning, I find, on the street, on the way to a New Thought Church called the Sangha Center for Spiritual Living, -  now, I normally don't look down while walking, but on that day, I did - well, I found - guess what?

A 30-day bus pass!

Amazing!

Just the day before, I had been talking about finding unexpected treasure, and here I was, finding it! And indeed, I had been using it since then!

And it was a double blessing for me, because it was also an answer to my questions:

Can I afford to buy that gift for Emily?

Am I doing the right thing?

And the answer was a resounding YES!
