FOOLS RUSH IN.

I'll tell you a tale of a lady I know,
Who turned on her telly and cried, "It won't go!"
She pushed every button she could find on the set,
But not even a picture or sound could she get.

Changed batteries for new ones in the little remote,
Pushed all of those buttons, grabbed her hat and her coat,
And went to her son for advice right away,
His solution caused her a great deal of dismay.

They went to the store and surveyed all the tellies,
She had to get one better than all the rellies'.
A huge costly one with a fancy stand too,
That will make them all jealous, but now, what to do

With the old set. Someone would take it away,
So she asked, and even offered to pay.
A grandson arrived, and just on a whim,
He plugged it in, turned it on, and it worked for HIM!

There was nothing at all that was broken, he found,
The embarrassed poor lady just sank to the ground.
Her grandson walked out with a T.V. for free,
And that silly old lady ...... You guessed, it was ME!
