The fire that lurks inside
How anger can eat a person alive, I've learned to let go

The uncontrolable urge to retaliate
My heart filled with a lot of hate
Not sure what to do with this emotion
My chosen way was once a wondeful devotion
It stems from not saying how I feel
Wondering if this will ever pan out into an even keel
I lash out at the ones I love
Knowing this emotion yes is God sent from above
It causes me to want release
To again with myself be at peace
Not sure how to channel this strong urge
Trying to find an out to once again purge
Please I call upon you to take this from deep within me
So I can once again feel free
