Blue Uniforms
There they were, like a wall of blue, walking to their deaths in their blue uniforms. Fighting to free a people and preserve a Country under the same banner. As they approached the middle ground, time seemed to slow as the enemy fired, and many red spots appeared on the nice blue uniforms, as hot lead ripped into them with out mercy or remorse. Then they saw a wall of Gray form before them then advance with a crazed cry of hatred. Now it was time for the revenge of the blue uniforms. They leveled their rifles and fired, the hot lead ripping into the gray wall, repaying their southern enemy's in kind. Then in an instant the Gray and blue walls crashed together with the anger and hatred of a new form. Bayonets sliced open bodies, blood soaked both gray and blue, and hot lead ripped through their enemy's. But at the end of the day both blue and gray was mixed together and the common denominator was the red of their blood. How were they different?
