Butterfly On wings of crystal gossamer with graceful, stately elegance a lovely, gentle butterfly, you wafted to my lonely heart enchanting me with delusions of pleasant future encounters. We shared a delightful evening, our spirits melded into one, our hopes and fears identical, emotions seemed reciprocal but, as sun began its descent, Cinderella like, you disappeared. In the sparkle of a sunbeam on a drop of glistening dew is there a chance you'll reappear? Will your loveliness grace my arm as we peruse and meander through the garden of affection? Our meeting seems a lover's dream, just wistful imagination but, real is the kiss we shared. If only I could have followed your fluttering flight at sunset to the jubilance of ecstacy.
