After Dawn

The glow of your smile
finds me now.

Life shines anew after the rise
of splendor
in our eyes;
Like a pond hidden
by the woods, our gift unfolds
ever softly
within.

The sweet elixir finds me
just beyond the kiss
of sunrise,
and soon stirs like honey
from your lips:
Words of inspiration
flow incessantly
through my heart and yours.

Tenderly
comes the glow
of our morning’s gaze.

Swirls in the clouds
its wet calm;
A sudden rainfall of love
that fills the sky
with our blessed union of souls.

An aftermood aglow
with pink hot
rhapsody.

The joy of your smile
finds me.
