Tears and rain they are one in the same,
Weary, no longer wanting to play this game called pain. Blue eyes that burn from the salt in these tears You have brought to life all of my fears. Burning, my eyes of red, Weeping from your ugly words said. Falling down are tears from the sky, I never knew that God also cries. Drowning the earth's ground. Hearing and feeling the thunders pound. So much time has passed, This ache of loneliness it just won't pass-. A sadness with too much weight, Overburdened no more, my bridge has collapsed. Flooded by my broken heart. The current carries my body, wheathered- It is saturated and fallen apart. Leaving me in a ocean filled with rain, Or maybe it was filled with those who have felt pain. Our tears that have fallen like the rain, After all, tears and rain, they are one in the same. ![]()
