the moon lays hidden beneath a cloud
in a gentle south-westerly wind trees sway gently, leaves whispering our secrets, unfolded blossoms and we meet in a dream two stars among the millions nighttime fears summon our courage tempting, bewildering the beach is wet with returning waves in the darkness before dawn a blind man stumbles on the sand I offer my hand, hoping to offer my strength the morning caresses a new adventure a fine freezing mist hides the mountains I imagine the majestic peaks outlined by the whimsical winter bluster which will eventually calm… will love be as capricious? and will the clouds swiftly desert my heart letting it follow the eagles outlined against the blue promise of tomorrow the blue promise 26 january, 2007 [2007.26.1…a]
