Strong
This poem is about a woman who battles the hardhips of life in itself.

She's hard in the heart
and tough to the bone.
But the strong aren't so strong
when they're fighting alone

Every morning she wakes,
a new battle to fight.
The whole world thinks she's wrong,
but she knows that she's right.

She just one pebble in the sea,
one brick in the wall.
Just one voice within the crowd,
one against them all.

The hate leads to failure,
she knows this because,
they hate who she's becoming
and she hates who she's become.

One reflection in her mirror,
one past to make her weak.
One voice forever silenced,
and in the silence, she cannot speak.
